I have worked with Doug Sinning on four musicals.... "Damn Yankees!", "Blood Brothers",
"1940s Radio Hour" and "Lucky Stiff".  I SOOOOOO recommend him.  He also worked with
another SCC theatre faculty person, Bobbie Bell on "Threepenny Opera". He is super musical
knowledgeable, works well with both amateurs and professionals, is full of great ideas....plus, he's
nice and funny.
If you ever are considering using him, call me at 407-328-4722, ext. 3417, and I'll tell you
how wonderful he is.  But I have first dibs.

Doug has a style that works well with soloists or group singers.  He has an endearing manner
that makes him likable, but at the same time he gets down to business and works relentlessly
toward perfection. He has the ability to take untrained voices and weave them together into
beautiful harmonies.
The combination of his knowledge, his charm, his creativity, and his work ethic, make him an
ideal person to work with.

Doug Sinning is one of the most talented musicians I know. He is fully capable when using either his vocal talents or his piano skills. He is a great vocal coach, and works well developing and guiding young voices. He also does a good job of inspiring those young voices.
As a musical director, he is always well prepared and is a wonderful person to collaborate with. He also knows how to have fun doing it! I am someone who has conducted orchestras/bands from the piano for many years, so I know the right stuff when I work with it.
Doug Sinning has the 'right stuff'.

I had the opportunity to work with Doug on Three Penny Opera - not an easy show to sing or
act - but Doug made me feel strong and sure in the approach, and helped me do things with the
songs through new ways I had never used!
